Contact us
Where to send a tip, a correction, a legal notice or a complaint — and when to expect a reply.
Last updated 10 September 2026
Please use the address that matches your reason for writing. It genuinely gets you a faster answer than a general enquiry.
The newsroom
Story tips, press releases and questions about our coverage: editor@wenanews.com
If you are sending a tip, it helps enormously to include: what happened, when and where, how you know, and any document or record that supports it. Tell us plainly whether you are willing to be named. We will not identify you without your agreement.
We read everything. We cannot reply to every message, and we do not confirm whether we are working on a story.
Corrections
Spotted an error? corrections@wenanews.com — please include the article URL and what you believe is wrong, with a source if you have one.
We aim to respond within two working days. How we handle corrections is set out in the corrections policy.
Right of reply
If we have reported a serious allegation about you or your organisation and you want to respond, write to editor@wenanews.com with "Right of reply" in the subject line. We will consider any response promptly and publish it alongside the original where it is warranted.
Grievance officer (IT Rules, 2021)
For formal complaints about published content under the Code of Ethics:
[Grievance officer name] · grievance@wenanews.com
[Registered address, City, State, PIN]
Acknowledged within 24 hours, decided within 15 days.
Legal, copyright and takedown
If you believe material here infringes your copyright, tell us the URL, identify the work, explain your rights in it, and give us your contact details. We investigate and act on valid notices promptly. We take this seriously in both directions: we do not publish other people's work, and we expect the same courtesy.
Privacy and data requests
To ask what personal data we hold about you, or to have it corrected or erased: privacy@wenanews.com. We respond within 30 days. See the privacy policy for what we actually collect, which is very little.
Advertising
Advertising is sold and served separately from the newsroom. Buying advertising buys advertising space, and nothing else.
Security disclosure
Found a vulnerability in this site? Please tell us at security@wenanews.com before disclosing it publicly, and give us a reasonable window to fix it. We will not pursue action against anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith and does not access or alter other people's data.
